This one-of-a-kind Canada 150 celebration is a unique opportunity to hear about all the people who have shared this land over the last 2,000 years. Special presentations on The Doctrine of Discovery, the Treaties, Tipi & Medicine Wheel Teachings, Truth and Reconciliation, The Métis Story, and multicultural storytelling will be available from a number of well-known presenters including Joseph Naytowhow, Karen Shmon, Dick & Norma Byrd, Henry Big Throat, Harold Jiggs Main, Steve Heinrichs and Lyndon Linklater. Storytelling events will take place all weekend long and the event will come to a conclusion on Sunday with a celebration of prayers and music at the site of the Prayer Stone and pow wow dancers back at the centre.
